We picked mild steel as the material to provide it the necessary strength since we wanted it to seem as elegant as possible. The seat was made from perforated sheet, and the lumbar support was provided by a solid plate. A pin joint is created at the intersection of the seat and framework to make it seem even more fragile. The back was supported by pivots to make the back support customizable according to the end user’s body type to maintain it comfortable to use.
