To considerations of sky-light and centrality, this project adds another dimension. The house of lines has been designed in such a way that the entire house remains well-lit up during the daytime. The spatial organization of the house is linear. The living room, Pooja room, staircase, and the space between the kitchen and dining receive natural light which makes the house even more pleasant for the inhabitants. Hence all double-height spaces have skylights and openings, which create volumetric drama and allow air to circulate through the stack effect giving a way for maximum light to penetrate throughout the day and gives. The volumes inside hence are expressed with a special tonality by the filtering light. The house creates a dialogue between indoors and outdoors. The living spaces are designed to create a lighter, more spacious and to improve the connections between the ground floor living areas. The steps at the west entrance also act as a seating place for the open amphitheater designed at the back of the house to carry out social/cultural gatherings.
</oembed>
